If the facade of the 90 year old building currently home to Midway Cafe Fort Thomas could speak, the stories it could tell. As you venture inside, you are welcomed by its old bones, which have rooted into history as a landmark to Fort Thomas. Curiosity beckons us to explore how many souls called this dwelling home before it became Midway Cafe. In 2015 the building underwent extensive repairs and remodeling and was given a new outlook on life while still keeping the charm of its venerable framework. The business also was given new life by two lifelong friends, Dave and Matt, along with their wives Staci and Erika, who had experience in the food and restaurant industry and were excited to begin their own chapter in the history of the Midway Cafe. A neoteric menu was developed and implemented providing a difference in opinion as to what most would consider bar food. And the drink selection was broadened to include so many brands of beer and whiskey it will make your head spin. But most improved would be the faces and character of the people who provide you service when you walk in the door. To us, the Midway Cafe is more than just a bar and restaurant. It is home to anyone who enters its doors, and in a home is family. We invite you to come eat, drink and write your own line into the history book of Midway Cafe.
